Terms of Service
Last updated August 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Feedif at https://feedif.io (the “Service”), operated by ByteMind (“Feedif,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, using a public board, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.
Questions: rudolfs@feedif.io.
1. The Service
Feedif is a hosted customer-feedback product for teams. It lets you collect and prioritize feedback, publish a public roadmap, announce releases with a changelog, embed widgets on your own site, and email voters when status changes or a release ships.
Visitors can browse public boards without an account. Signing in is required to submit feedback, vote, comment, or subscribe to updates.
Current plan (see the pricing page for the live offer):
- Indie: a 7-day free trial, then $15/month or $150/year (2 months free vs monthly). Includes unlimited projects, a public board, roadmap, changelog, widgets, custom logo and colors, the option to hide Feedif branding, email notifications, and changelog images.
2. Accounts
You may sign in with Google or a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that email. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding contract.
You can update your profile or delete your account from Account Settings. Deleting an account removes workspaces you solely own, including their boards and related data. Public comments or votes you left on other people’s boards may be removed or anonymized.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you or your users submit (project names, logos, feedback, comments, changelog entries, images, and similar). You grant Feedif a license to host, display, and process that content only as needed to run the Service, including public boards, embeds, and email notifications you enable.
Public boards, roadmaps, changelogs, and embeds are visible to anyone with the link. Do not post confidential material on a public board.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights;
- spam, scrape, or overload the Service;
- upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access;
- impersonate others or mislead people about who you are;
- post content that is harassing, hateful, or otherwise not appropriate for a public product board.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that create legal, security, or operational risk.
4. Payments — Polar as merchant of record
Paid Feedif subscriptions are sold by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record. Polar collects payment, issues invoices, calculates and remits applicable taxes (including VAT and sales tax where required), and handles related payment administration. Your card statement may show a charge from Polar rather than Feedif.
When you buy Indie, you are buying from Polar under Polar's Terms of Service. Those terms, together with Polar's Privacy Policy, govern the purchase, tax, invoicing, chargebacks, and Polar's customer portal. If they conflict with these Terms on a purchase-related matter, Polar's terms control.
Feedif still provides the software and support. Polar does not operate your boards; it resells access to the Indie plan.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal in Account Settings (powered by Polar). If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged. After the trial converts, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Polar's terms or applicable law say otherwise.
5. Refunds
You may cancel Indie at any time to stop future charges, including during the free trial so you are not billed. Fees already paid for the current period are generally non-refundable, except where Polar's terms or consumer law require a refund (for example, a statutory cooling-off right where it applies).
To request a refund, email rudolfs@feedif.io. We will work with Polar to process any refund we or Polar approve.
6. Embeds and your visitors
If you embed a Feedif board or widget on your website, you are responsible for telling your visitors about that integration and for complying with privacy and cookie rules that apply to your site.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Feedif reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change features, plans, or these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page, and we may also email the address on your account. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we shut Feedif down, we will try to give reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages, or for issues caused by Polar's checkout, tax handling, or payment processing.
Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for Feedif through Polar in the 12 months before the claim (or €50 if you have not paid). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those cases the limit applies only to the extent allowed.
9. Privacy
How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Payment data for paid plans is handled by Polar as described there and in Polar's own privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Latvia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that Polar's terms apply to the purchase itself. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply if they cannot be waived.
